TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS?
I went to school for floral design 10 years ago and opened Snowberry Botanicals 7 (almost 8) years ago.
WHICH CHAPEL HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE?
I loved The Henley Room colour combo and the lake views. SO serene.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT WORKING IN THE WEDDING INDUSTRY?
For me it’s the People! Meeting and working with new clients. Working with talented vendors and the hectic and exciting energy of a team coming together to set up the event vision is the best part.
IF YOU COULD DESIGN A CHAPEL, HOW WOULD IT LOOK?
A wild dreamlike meadow of oversized wildflowers, butterflies, bees and dragonflies… OR an Alice In Wonderland-esc forest full of mushrooms, branchy trees, draping moss elements and interesting, quirky florals.
HOW IS THE CHAPEL EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT FROM YOUR TYPICAL WORK?
The Chapel is unique because of the bold design concepts and fun colour choices used. It’s a creative outlet for the team of designers to share their vision with us and watch it all unfold and a great way for the couples to have a wow factor wedding with an exciting element of surprise.
TELL US ABOUT HOW YOUR BRAND ALIGNS WITH THE POP-UP CHAPEL VALUES: SIMPLICITY, INCLUSIVITY, SUSTAINABILITY & SOCIAL CONSCIOUSNESS?
First, I love the idea of creating one overall design suited for multiple couples to keep the waste that a wedding can create to a minimal. Two days vs 20 minutes. 20 couples vs 1 couple. Second, the fact that love is the theme at EVERY Chapel. Couples getting married with Chapel can feel comfortable in a fully inclusive space.
WHAT US SOMETHING YOU ARE WORKING ON THESE DAYS OR SOMETHING YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT AND WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH THE COMMUNITY?!
I am excited to work more with The Pop-Up Chapel Co. in 2023!!! Also I will be opening a new retail location, wahoo!
