CHAPEL RECAP: OCTOBER 2019
Our closing Pop-Up Chapel of 2019 was a vibrant celebration that featured trendy tropical themed accents, lush greenery and tons of creative photo opp installations. Hosting the 9 stunning couples and their 20 guests was Evergreen Brick Works, whose space offered versatility for our team to seamlessly transition the venue into a fun-filled all-black and white tropical inspired party!
The design for our edgy ceremony backdrop featured life-size paper Monstera leaves in rich green and white, tropical neon leaves and a glowing "Forever begins here" neon sign. Our goal when designing each Pop-Up Chapel is to take something simple and make it special - these neon signs did just that!
As the talented trio of Toronto Jazz Collective played sweet tunes, brides and grooms walked down the botanical themed vinyl decal runner, passed white and black mirage chairs, making it to our ceremony officiants who brought laughter, tears and moments of reflection.
Making for a stunning photo opportunity was the rad vintage swing adorned with fresh greens and our infamous custom made "CHAPEL" Marquee lights. In an effort to make the Pop-Up Chapel a sustainable event, our design incorporated reusable paper-made tropical leaves from Anthropologie that was repurposed for our ceremony backdrop and our signage.
Our Chapel also displayed a Glenfiddich gifting station where each couple got to take home a bottle of 18-year-old Glenfiddich Whisky and custom-printed drams. Guests toasted to the happy couple with some seriously cute (and on-theme) cocktails, including the "Whisky Sour" and "Glenfiddich & Ginger" by Glenfiddich, herbal spirit by Cocalero and a refreshing all-natural beer from New Standard Beer. During cocktail hour, couples cut their very own custom made 6" cake and enjoyed the most delicious frosted Oreo pops.
After successfully marrying 9 beautiful couples, our team raised $3,000 for The Evergreen Children's Garden - a team of city builders with a mission to inspire cleaner cities through educating the youth. Keep scrolling to see some highlights and stunning shots of our couples from the day!
