POP-UP CHAPEL HAS A NEW LOOK - AND FEEL!
You may have noticed some changes around here and that’s because The Pop-Up Chapel has had a full on rebrand! Our team took a deep look at the brand and everything that it has done over the past 7+ years, examining everything we love about it and everywhere we want to go in the future. We thought hard about the modern and diverse couples we have married, and the feedback we’ve received while working with them. We tried to picture where the world of weddings and elopements is going and where the Chapel can flourish in relation to that. After lots of thinking, chatting and brainstorming, we sculpted a look and personality for the business that we felt would emulate a friend of our chapel couples…or should I say a bestie! Take a look below to learn all the cheeky details of the new and improved Pop-Up Chapel.
The New Look
The original Pop-Up Chapel look was so cute and romantic. It communicated to our couples the ease and simplicity of getting married with the Pop-Up Chapel. We thought this was all important to maintain because the Chapel remains the simplest way to get married! But we also wanted our couples to see how dynamic and exciting The Pop-Up Chapel has become. The original look was certainly bright, but we wanted to be more colourful and bold than ever! We incorporated animation and cheeky graphics throughout our platforms to show that things are evolving; we have new packages, from Minilopements to Co.Weds and we’re always developing new add-on services.
We expanded our colour palette to reflect the vast array of wedding designs we create, as well the broad diversity of the couples who come through the Chapel. We wanted to reflect that original romance, while also conveying more! The Chapel team is dedicated to sustainable design and eco-friendly practices, which we wanted to be felt through more natural elements, such as greens in our palette and eclectic shapes as opposed to structured and firm designs.
You’ll notice we’ve incorporated tons of funky stamps that add a light and cheeky tone to the design. We wanted to create visual cues as to what it’s like to work with the Chapel - friendly and fun! Along with the stamps we’ve introduced new fonts with a more unique and romantic flair, for the same reason. We want to be able to visually effect the experience of those we’re reaching by conveying romance, importance, affection, and more! Which is a perfect segue to our next topic…

We decided together the most important part of our rebrand would be how newly engaged couples feel when they find The Pop-Up Chapel platforms. In sculpting this new band persona, we unanimously agreed the Chapel should make people feel they are in the presence of friends. This is our primary goal in all communications, in our marketing, and especially on Chapel days when we come face to face with our brides and grooms. When people let us into one of their most special days, we don’t take that lightly and we never want them to feel like “just another customer”.
The new Pop-Up Chapel can accommodate every type of couple, whether you’re a spontaneous duo looking for a bold new way to declare your love, or the cool calm and collected partnership looking for a more reasonable wedding option. Our team is ready to support any and all folks on their special day. We are offering more add-ons, packages, and customizations than ever before. And as our team and services develop we’re able to integrate more of your requests than ever before. Inclusivity is not just a static goal we strive to achieve, but a constantly evolving value, which we hold at the heart of all that we do.
