After much preparation and anticipation, we are so pleased to announce that the Pop-Up Chapel will be expanding to 4 new wedding venues in 2025 - each in a different city! Take a peek below to see which brand new venue will be the setting for your luxury elopement next summer.
The STORYS Building
Toronto
The STORYS Building is located in he heart of downtown Toronto’s entertainment district. Just steps away from the historic Royal Alexandra Theatre and the TIFF Lightbox, the area is crawling with glamorous, big-city vibes, perfect for an urban portrait session.
Inside, the venue boasts exposed brick, vintage furniture, and adorable twinkle lights overhead, complete with large windows and a view of the city streets. Historically this venue has hosted major events during TIFF season for all biggest names in Hollywood as well as hundreds of wedding and elopements for local sweethearts. Despite the heritage feel, this venue is fully accessible, so there is no need to worry about every guest being comfortable on your big day.
Couples can expect a wedding that combines the modernity of Pop-Up Chapel with the vintage energy of the space, while adding our usual whimsical flair. More than anything our nearly-weds should look forward to a solid party at STORYS.
Waupoos Estate Winery
Prince Edward County
Founded in 1993, Waupoos Estate Winery was the very first winery in Prince Edward County, now the home to dozens of other world class wineries. As the only lakefront winery in the area, is it an obvious choice for a gorgeous wedding!
The sprawling 20-acre vineyard has multiple spaces for the Pop-Up Chapel couples to take advantage of when continuing the party. From the gazebo for photos, to the farm-to-table restaurant, to the quaint farmhouse suites for the wedding night, the options are limitless without even leaving the property.
Couples can expect the bar to be stocked with all Waupoos Estate Winery products, and locally sourced charcuterie boards to add-on to your Chapel experience. The trees will be showing off with the fall colours… as if the portraits could get any better!
Slate Event Space
Vancouver
Our first urban venue on the west coast! Slate is a chic and sleek venue with beautiful downtown views and endearing interior elements. From the striped indoor awnings to the lush greenery this venue is perfect for the downtown couple living in Vancouver.
Located at Smithe & Granville, walking distance from The Vogue and Orpheum Theatres, this lively downtown neighbourhood makes it easy to keep the celebrations going. The space itself is naturally lit in the daytime, with sunlight streaming in through the floor to ceiling windows. Into the evening, candles and warm accent lighting illuminate the room to create a party vibe.
Couples can expect a modern charm from this venue, as well as decor that plays with the outdoor elements of the decor. The portraits will be stunning downtown shots that exude the excitement of the day.
Bonnie View Inn
Haliburton
If you’ve always dreamed of a cottage wedding, but don’t have the cottage to host it, Bonnie View was made for you.
Located on lake Kashagawigamog in the Haliburton Highlands, Bonnie View Inn has been hosting friends and families for 100 years! The resort has everything from fishing to ice cream trucks, s’mores to dockside dining .
