Wedding planning can be overwhelming- after all, we ideally only do this once, so you shouldn’t be an expert. However, at The Pop-Up Chapel Co, we believe weddings can be simple and stylish, and you don’t need to break the bank (or remortgage your house). We’ve created a unique, shared wedding concept where we marry up to 10 couples in one day- one couple on the hour every hour for 10 hours straight- which saves our couples stress and money. We’ve hosted more than 20 Chapels across North America in some of the most desired wedding venues and have helped raise over 60k for local charities.

Canadian couples spend an average of $50,000 on their wedding! You probably think that things for your special day could be different, you could DIY your décor, hire friends and cut back to save some money, but you’ll most likely have to compromise significantly on the venue, florals, photographer and other essential aspects. Not to mention the hours you’ll spend crafting, or finding a venue or vendors in a budget that feels reasonable to you. 


Here’s the industry standard breakdown of typical wedding costs in Canada:


• Venue: $22,500 (Food and Beverages Included)

• Officiant: $500

• Marriage Licence: $100 

• Cake: $600-1500

• Music and Entertainment: $2350-10,000

• Florals: $3000-10,000

• Photographer: $4500-8000

• Wedding Planner: $5000-15,000

• 1-hour time slot (15-minute ceremony + 45-minute Reception)

• A 45-minute Portrait Session post Chapel

• Personal Flowers (Bouquet & Boutonnière or two of each if preferred)

• Live Music for the Ceremony

• $300 minimum in donations to the charity paired with the Chapel
