CHAPEL RECAP: JULY 15-17, 2021

24 Couples Marry in Style at Toronto’s Globe and Mail Centre

On July 15th, 16th, and 17th, we transformed the ceremony space at The Globe and Mail Centre into a cozy, vintage-inspired celebration to marry 24 beautiful couples in style!

The decor for our ceremony space was filled with beautiful dried flowers in a neutral colour scheme of cream, beige black, and touches of burgundy. To bring it all together, we used vintage-inspired rugs of varying sizes to line the aisle. And for the WOW factor? Each couple said their I do’s in front of The Globe and Mail Centre’s floor-to-ceiling windows, which look out onto the Toronto city skyline. With such an incredible venue, our job was easy - we wanted a design that highlighted the space and made it feel chic and cozy.

Post-ceremony, guests were ushered into a cocktail hour where everyone could share a celebratory toast. The cocktail hour wouldn’t be complete without a toast to the newlyweds with their choice of wine from Lakeview Wines, beer from Steam Whistle BrewerySocial LitesViveau, and Gruvi. Guests enjoyed Kernels Popcorn, or if they were in the mood for something sweet, each table also featured a basket filled with delicious freshly baked cookies courtesy of Courage Cookies.
