Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
We have all seen the TikTok videos or the Instagram influencer talk about upcycling, but what does that really mean and who would have thought that you can actually apply it to your wedding day! An amazing way to save money is to see what’s around and accessible to you and use that in your favour. Local markets and thrift store will become your best friend and are the perfect spot to look for inspiration or even some accent furniture!
One of The Pop-Up Chapel’s values is sustainability and we make sure to put it to practice! We are constantly reusing decor and coming up with creative ways to use the same items multiple times in different ways. For instance, on the July 8th Chapel (left), the backdrop was entirely made of recycled apple cartons, which we repurposed, painted, and made it beautiful! Our team also created a gorgeous moody fall backdrop, where we repurposed the arches from another event and reused textured paper leaves from a downtown Toronto window display for our October 8, 9 & 10, 2020 Chapel (right).

Say Yes To The…Venue?
The space that your wedding will take place makes the entire difference on what is the vibe you are trying to bring to your wedding day. If you are looking into affordable venues in Canada, look into non-traditional venues, places that people wouldn’t usually think for their wedding, like a museum or old movie theatre, or a secluded cottage, make it unique! Another tip is to look into the venue’s rentals available, this way you can save in decor instead of going with a separate decor company and also having to pay delivery/pick up fees.

No, we are not talking about resorts. Your wedding can also be an all inclusive package! These packages vary in what you are looking for in your elopement. It is important to research thoroughly on what is important for you to have in your wedding, that being a photographer, officiant, design choices, duration of party, etc.
The Pop-Up Chapel has created an all inclusive package for your wedding day to have everything you need for the perfect wedding. It’s a stress free, affordable and beautiful way to get hitched. The basic Chapel package includes 1 hour in the Chapel, a photographer, officiant, venue and decor, 20+ guests, personal florals, live music for your ceremony, light bites and a toast, and $300 donation to charity on your behalf.
