On September 15th & 16th we had the honour of hosting a fully sold out Chapel with 20 incredible couples eloping with us at Evergreen Brickworks! Our abstract butterfly inspired backdrop was the perfect match to the secret indoor garden at Koerner Gardens. Romantic pillar candles and soft fabric was used to adorn the ceremony space and create a light mood to compliment the monochromatic ivory coloured Chapel.

With the help of the fantastic Flower Treasures, the Chapel design was elevated using a mix of ivory and bone coloured florals. To add a bit of texture and fun, dried florals were used to accent the backdrop. We had the pleasure to also have May Flowers creating beautifully designed personal florals for our couples. Colourful bouquets, bouts, and corsages were shown off by every couple!

During the ceremony, our couples got to experience the most beautiful live music from Next Level Entertainments vocal and instrumental duo. Couple’s walked down the aisle to some classic, heartwarming songs that brought emotion to everyone in the room. We are so thankful to have worked alongside Leonard Nolasco, Juliana Klein, Kim Adeney, and Jonny Belinko as we all got to witness these marriages performed by these wonderful officiants.

Our couples and their guests then got to spend their cocktail hour toasting with tasty wines from Fresh Wines and sipping on beer from Steam Whistle Brewery, and non-alcoholic drinks from Viveau, all served out of a crowd favourite, Tipsy Turny Trailer. Which, by the way, doubles as the cutest photo moment! Everyone also got to indulge in some scrumptious cakes from Olivia Y Cakes and enjoyed some light bites from Courage Cookies and Purplesful Popcorn. Once everyone had some snacks and drinks, they got to sit back and enjoy the lounge by Glamorous Affairs (yet another fabulous photo op!). We got to watch the couples share their love with their families and closest friends while they took photos in this neutral coloured oasis and cherished memories that will last a lifetime. The talented photographers, such as Rita Kravchuk, Alicia Thurston, Rachel Hunt, The Organic Moment, and Francis Rose West who spent the day with us captured the most beautiful, heartfelt and draw dropping images of the weddings. The couple portraits and the detail shots were certainly our favourites of this Chapel. Through this Chapel we helped support Evergreen Children’s Garden and we are over the moon to announce that this Chapel raised a total of $6000! Evergreen Children’s Garden is located in Toronto at the event venue and offers play and stewardship-based opportunities for children and families of all ages.
