Our first Pop Up Chapel of 2019 took place on March 29th at The Sky Yard at The Drake Hotel in Toronto. We were #blessed with an unusually sunny day and the opportunity to marry 6 beautiful couples.

The colour palette for this chapel was an array of purple ombre hues that complimented the current install within the Drake Hotel perfectly. Each couple walked down our 25ft art deco inspired vinyl runner, past white chateau chairs, to a paper fan backdrop. On either side sat bustling florals with purple painted pampas grass and dried palms. The Toronto Jazz Collective brought sultry vibes to the intimate setting as our officiants brought laughs, tears and moments of reflection.After each ceremony the couples and their 20 guests enjoyed a custom cocktail featuring Glenfiddich Whisky and sweet treats provided by The Drake Hotel. The reception space was chock-full of on-theme florals, paper fans and a balloon garland install. Our 6 couples went home with a bottle of 18-year-old Glenfiddich Whisky to commemorate the occasion.

With the sun shining, guests headed outside for a photo op at our #CoolerThanCityHall photo booth and with our classic Chapel marquee sign. Each couple finished their hour off by cut a stunning 6” cake with a personalized cake topper before heading out with their photographer for a 45 minute portrait session on the streets of trendy Queen St West.

We could not be happier with how our tone-on-tone design for the March chapel turned out! We raised over $2k for Sick Kids, a cause particularly close to the LBL team's hearts. As always, we couldn't have made this day possible without help and support from our generous vendors and sponsors. You make the wild ride of executing 6 weddings in one day possible and enjoyable!
