Everything you need to know about the Koerner Gardens event space!

On August 26th and 27th, the iconic Evergreen Brickworks was host to 39 couples saying “I do”. In this Chapel recap we’re sharing our favourite details from 1 of the 2 spaces at our biggest Chapel yet! With fresh pastel shades and a starburst-inspired design the Koerner Gardens event space was a real life fairytale for all of our romantics at heart.

The ceremony space featured light tulle accents to match each shade in our dreamy colour scheme of pastel blue, orange and pink. The backdrop was shaped like sunset painted in a soft white and featured a bold floral install to match the pastel pallet.

Post-ceremony, guests were ushered into a cocktail hour where everyone could share a celebratory toast. The cocktail hour wouldn’t be complete without a toast to the newlyweds with their choice of wine from Lakeview Wines, Steam Whistle Brewery beer, Social Lites, Viveau, and Gruvi, served from Tipsy Turny Trailer Mobile Bar. Guests enjoyed Kernels Popcorn and if they felt like something a little sweeter, Courage Cookies

This Chapel raised $5700 in support of Evergreen Children’s Garden. Evergreen Children’s Garden is located in Toronto at the event venue and offers play and stewardship-based opportunities for children and families of all ages.

We have been very proactive in our approach to hosting our Chapels during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our layout and planning process has been modified to ensure that all health and safety regulations and standards are met. We are committed to making the day stress-free, safe, and beautiful for our couples and guests. Our Chapel safety plan includes socially distanced spaces, proper sanitization stations set up in every room and hallway, carefully pre-packaged food and drinks and a dedicated staff member on-site to disinfect surfaces between each couple.
