CHAPEL RECAP: APRIL 8TH, 2022
We kicked off our 2022 Chapel Season at the Iconic and Romantic Hycroft Manor in Vancouver!
On April 8th, we hosted our first Chapel of 2022 at Vancouver’s Hycroft Manor, and the memories we made that day set the tone for a year full of love!! Our team had the pleasure of working with Wednesday Wedding Co once again to help us host this incredible Chapel!! This Chapel Design was definitely one for the books and we loved how Morgan values sustainability with her use of lemons!! Her team incorporated the timeless beauty of Hycroft, with it’s big bay windows bright chandeliers, and classic furniture, and they included pops of yellow flowers and lemons everywhere to create this zesty and fun Chapel Design. We had Ecorce Flowers help us bring this design to life with their beautiful and vibrant florals.
We had 9 beautiful couples begin their Chapel Experience by getting married in the elegant drawing room, standing in front of the carved marble fireplace, with an intimate ceremony performed by Young Hip and Married. Our couples and their guests got to enjoy Alex Flocks accompaniment as they walked down the aisle and signed their licence. After sealing thier marriage with a kiss and saying “I DO!” the couples took a trip out to the terrace that features a breathtaking view of Vancouver and tall Corinthian pillars that make the space feel oh so magical.
Our couples and their guests got to spend their Cocktail hour toasting with some locally produced wines from Backyard Vineyard, and sipping on our premium pilsner from the one and only Steam Whistle Brewery. After making Memories and Snapping photos with their loved ones on the terrace, our couples go to enjoy their portrait session exploring the expansive and beautiful grounds at Hycroft Manor. Our Photographers from Olive and Bean Photo spent some time exploring with our couples to find all the best spots. Check out some of couples portraits captured in green solarium, the expansive gardens, and the Juliet balcony. Check out some stunning sneak peeks below!!
Through this Chapel we helped support The University Women’s Club of Vancouver and their Trust fund for Education. The (TFE) was created in 1970 to help marginalized students gain an equal standing through further education. They work to provide, scholarships, bursaries, and loans to help students at risk. We feel so proud to have donated a total of $2700 through the help of our 9 wonderful Vancouver Couples!!
